Hiring: Head of IT M/F

Auvibel is a collective management organization that collects and distributes private copy levies in Belgium.

Reprobel is a collective management organization. It ensures that authors and publishers are appropriately remunerated for the re-use of their works in professional sectors (companies, public authorities, education/research, public libraries, etc.).

We are looking for a Head of IT, who will be a member of the Executive Committee of Reprobel and Auvibel and will supervise the IT team.

Tasks :

Translating the business strategy into strategy and objectives for the IT department (infrastructure, system, IT admin, data management, security) by

• defining the requirements for IT procedures;
• supervision of the implementation of IT procedures;
• monitoring of IT procedures;
• automation of IT procedures;
• management of the IT department’s resources;
• management of IT department priorities;

Supervision of daily operational tasks related to the IT department such as (but not limited to)

• Infrastructure: design and maintenance;
• Systems;
• Security;
• IT asset management (purchase, sale, inventory);
• Data management;

Project management

• definition of project management needs;
• Implementation of project management procedures;
• Controlling project management procedures;
• automation of project management procedures;
• managing the resources of the project management department;
• Management of the project management department’s priorities;
• Management of the internal project portfolio;
• Identification and description of planning phases;
• Management of the execution (development) and testing phases;
• Management of project release and follow-up;
• Point of contact with external parties;
• Coordination of communication.

  • A solid IT background or equivalent experience in professional life
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure management

• Education
  • Minimum Master level
  • Three to five years’ experience in a similar role is an asset
• Languages:
  • Very good knowledge of French and Dutch (both written and spoken, active and passive) and English
